Bear Paw Paperworks creates fine art inspired by nature seen in the woodland home of the artists and during their travel throughout their life together. The original artwork is made from wool and felt (known as needle felting) and/or handmade paper which is cut, torn and layered to create their unique three dimensional arts. Adding to the three dimensional aspect of the artwork, embellishments are included in the picture such as waxed linen cord, beads, sticks, leaves and stones. The piece is finished off with acrylic painting and other decorative accessories either on canvas or framed under glass with a homemade pine frame.
The nature inspired themes include landscape scenes, abstract, animals such as bear, wolf, raven and deer, and plant life. Another major influence on the artwork is the Southwest Native American spiritual and other native symbols such as the spiral symbol meaning the circle of life or journey of life.
The quality of Bear Paw artwork makes it a fine addition to any wall - in a mansion owned by the most refined individual or a rustic cabin of the simple nature lover. They also make a welcomed gift to any loved one, friend, or other art lover. |
